If there’s one thing the logistics industry can’t escape, it’s paperwork, tons of it. From MBLs, HBLs, invoices, and customs documents to compliance paperwork, managing these files manually is slow, error-prone, and inefficient. That’s where Elyxr Docs comes in, an AI-driven document management platform built to automate, standardize, and streamline logistics documentation.
I was the one and only designer on this project, owning everything from end-to-end UX research to design iteration and post-launch usability testing. The goal? To transform complex logistics tracking into an effortless, intelligent experience.
Navigating Complexity in Global Logistics
Tracking a shipment across 75+ carriers and 50+ airlines means dealing with massive data sets, irregular updates, and unpredictable delays. I had to craft a seamless user experience that transformed fragmented tracking data into a clear, actionable, and predictive dashboard for businesses worldwide.
The challenge was not just about displaying information, it was about anticipating problems before they occurred. Through deep user research and iterative design, I shaped Elyxr Trace into a platform that helps businesses react faster, reduce inefficiencies, and optimize logistics operations with confidence.
Building with Speed & Precision
Designing Trace was both a sprint and a marathon. As the sole designer on this project, I had to ensure a fast-paced execution while maintaining high design standards. From wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes, I built the entire product within the given timeline, conducted usability testing, and collaborated closely with developers to resolve design challenges and edge cases.
Refining the Experience for Scale
Once the product was launched, my role didn’t stop. I conducted usability testing, analyzed real-world usage, and refined workflows to ensure businesses could leverage AI-driven insights to streamline their supply chains effortlessly.
With Elyxr Trace, I wasn’t just designing another tracking tool. I was helping businesses see beyond shipment locations and make smarter, faster logistics decisions.
